Grocery
Built for the bakery aisle.
Grocery doesn't buy a donut. It buys a range - glazed rings, fritters, decorated - in the pack sizes each banner actually sells. We've been building those programs for Canadian retailers since 1972.
A range, sized to your banner.
The programs we build for grocery tend to start with two SKUs and grow from there.
A program, not a SKU
Fritters, glazed rings, decorated — we build a multi-SKU range around what your shoppers already reach for, then hold it steady case after case.
Retail-ready packs
3-, 4-, 6- and 12-packs, with the 6s and 12s currently our biggest sellers. Full case is 72 donuts; the half case is 36.
In-store bakery or packaged aisle
Thaw & Sell goes out in the tray it arrives in. Bulk lets your bakery team finish it in house. Both run out of the same freezer.
45-minute thaw
Restock through the day instead of guessing the morning order. The case stays full to close.
Canadian manufacturer
Made in Edmonton. No border in your supply chain, and no tariff exposure in your landed cost.
Your banner or ours
Most of what we make already ships under a retailer's own label. Now we're putting our own brand on shelf alongside it.
In market
A donut people can ask for by name.
For fifty years we've made donuts that shoppers recognise without ever knowing who made them. That's changing. The Donut Co. is going to market under its own brand — new tray, new packaging, the same recipe that's been on Canadian shelves since 1972.
If you want a branded facing in the bakery aisle sitting alongside your own label, this is the one to ask us about.

How it works
From first call to first facing.
