Why we make donuts

Vision

To become Canada’s most loved donut company, for generations to come.

Mission

To create moments of joy and connection, one memorable bite at a time.

Where we started

It all began with a handful of donut shops.

In 1972, Richard Manley bought Sir Donut, a group of retail donut stores already up and running. They were sit-down coffee shops, where people came for the donuts and stayed for the coffee. Over the next five decades, the business evolved: from bricks-and-mortar storefronts to a wholesale bakery, from a small warehouse to a 35,000 sq ft facility, from a local name to a national supplier. The product changed very little, the ambition kept growing, a legacy carried on by family and friends.
